Apples Apples Apples ....

It's that wonderful time of year down south.....apple pickin time.
We went up north to the Apple Festival

Check out some of the things we did at one of the local orchards...

.....we went wagon riding down thru the orchards to see how apples grow...

... we stood in line alot too...

..... it was a happening place to be this past Saturday. I'm sure glad it was a pretty day and we had lot's of family and friends and good snacks to keep us happy.

...Reese got to compete in a her first ever John Deer tricycle race

Her little legs need to grow before she takes on some serious racing. I dont think all tracks will allow daddy's to help.

Then it was off to try our hand at a little cow milking. Reese got to milk a cow. I always wanted to milk a cow but it was for kids only... I believe poor "Buttermilk" will never be the same...

There was jumping and more jumping on a huge trampoline for the kiddies. A nice activity to helped burns off those fried apple pies & funnel cakes...

Maybe next year not only will her legs be longer for tricycle racing , but maybe she will weigh a little bit more too .Then she might not get bounced off quite so easily..... She was a trooper though. She went up then down, up then down... but she always went back up.

She got to ride the horsies....

I think this picture is priceless... can't you hear some western song playing in the back ground... " Lonesome trails to you... until we met again.... "

Then on to the jumbo slides.....My child loves slides... she is unafraid of heights as well as most anything else .
Her daddy loves this fact too. He cant wait until we can go to Six Flags and they can ride all those roller coasters together... ( cause I aint )

We cant forget the petting zoo.... we saw baby chicks, kittens, goats, lambs, calves, pigs and rabbits....

I believe she loves anything John Deer...

she loved the chickens

The chickens had the right idea.... hiding under their shed from the children and not coming out....,....( I wonder if they should have warned Buttercup what was coming??? )

It was a great day for the entire family.....

Looks like a very fun day! And I could almost hear the country music twanging in the backround on the pony picture!
