The most unbelievable thing has happened.... snow on Christmas day. We havent had snow in Ga on Christmas since the 1800's. What an awesome conclusion to a perfect Christmas...

Merry CHRISTmas... part 2

Let the unwrapping begin....well almost...Our power went out and we had to hold off the unwrapping until the power came back on. We decide to start with the gifts outside and not wrapped...

...a special thank you to Becky & Tanner.... we love the little house ( she didnt want to go back inside . I hope we have some warmer weather soon or I'm in trouble )

... a special thanks to uncle wayne & aunt ruby ( I believe she likes the jeep. maybe we will learn how to use it soon )

Yea the lights are finally on.... let the unwrapping begin..

Merry CHRISTmas

It's early Christmas morning and I'm up putting the finishing touches to our Christmas lunch with my dad and brothers and stuffing Reese's stocking with lots of little somethings...

And as I'm stuffing Reese's stocking, I cant help but think as the sun is coming up here this Christmas morn it's going down in China. Is there a mother getting ready for bed and thinking of a little baby this Christmas evening? Is she praying Lord for her daughter?...My prayer this Christmas morning is that as the light dims on another day in China, Christmas Day, that the true light of the world, Jesus, would shine bright and fill this country with the love and forgiveness you give us Lord. And Lord....surround this one mother right now hold her in Your arms and surround her with love..

Merry Christmas everyone....

"today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord"...Luke 2:11

Christmas wrapping...

Christmas sure has got here super fast this year. I just dont know where the last few days went to so fast. But Christmas is almost one week away. Am I ready??? NO

I have so much more to do and gifts to buys. But with the Lord's help, I'll make it.

We had to get down to some serious Christmas wrapping last night. We had no presents wrapped yet. Our tree is bare and sad looking.

But this year it sure was a whole lot of fun wrapping up family & teacher presents with my precious assistance. She is a mean little wrapper. She knows how to handle her scissors.

Now we've got to sneak off and wrap up some presents for daddy. That's going to be fun.
