Christmas 2012

This has been an awesome Christmas season.

I don't think I will ever forget the three Christmas's we spent waiting on Reese to come home and wondering where where she was and if someone was loving on her....

Thank you Lord for keeping our baby safe and bringing her home. We love her so..

We were super busy this year. Here's a look at some of our Christmas fun.

First the school Christmas Party and a little cookie decorating...

That was super fun...and yummy.

We had fun at our local Christmas parade but it was so cold we didnt take any photo's.

Here we are getting ready to go to her Christmas program at school.

She followed direction so good this year. I wish you could have seen her skipping in with her present...

Reese did so good this year in her school program. I believe this was the first year she really sang and did most of the hand motions.

I asked her what they were singing and she sang ..." Mary had a baby, OH LORD " and she was really loud on the OH Lord.

It scared me a little and I wasn't sure how that was going to turn out. But it was so sweet.

She can sing Jingle Bells so good this year. It does this mama's heart good to see her coming out of her shell...

Our Christmas tree this year was our fake one. I don't have any pictures of us decorating the tree this year. Mark went to the Alabama/Alburn football game so me and Reese had to do it all by ourselves. It was fun but not as much if we had all been doing it together...

Christmas morning....

She was thrilled with the dream light..

No Christmas would be complete without a little fake purple hair.

My little ponies is her thing. I believe we have about all there is.

It's a shame you have to get clothes on Christmas isn't it...

She loved big packages , I loved that smile

More ponies...

Uncle Dwayne ... we need you

My big dollhouse... I think I like it.

This was an awesome Christmas.

Parent's seek peek in....

Reese had to give up tumbling this year. She loved it so much but she developed an allergy to something at the center. She broke out in whelps. After talking to her doctor, we all decided it wasn't worth the risk.

So we decided to give ballet a try. She loves it too. I don't think she loves it as much as tumbling but it's alot safer. At least we haven't broke out in whelps.

The only thing is they don't let you watch. But the other day we got a seek peek and it was so awesome....

Mama I need to see Santa Claus RIGHT NOW...

Friday when I picked Reese up from school, she was busy doing something at one of the tables and telling me we needed to go see Santa Claus " right now."
I asked her what she was doing and she informed me...I'm writing Santa a note. Well of course. I should have guessed silly me.

All it said was ...  BARBIE CHRISTMAS on one side and DOLLHOUSE CROWN on the other. She left off the BIG. ( We are suppose to add that after we got home. )

You know all those black friday sale papers you get on Thanksgiving enticing you to shop...well she shopped. She saw a SAM's club ad featuring a big tall dollhouse. One of those taller than her kind. And she was in love.
That's all she asked for this Christmas.... a big dollhouse then she changed it to add princess and then she changed it again to include barbie with a crown on it.

A BIG BARBIE PRINCESS DOLLHOUSE with a CROWN on top.
Whew... little minds....

Where in the world are we going to find that???

Well Santa Claus I hope you can get this one right because I know a special little girl who's been awfully good this year.

Mama's and Daddy's brave little girl sitting on Santa's lap showing him her note.

She was so proud of herself this year. This was the first year she actually sat on Santa's lap. She kept telling me.." Mama, I just walked right up there." Yes you did sweet baby girl.. you are so brave.

I asked her when we left what she told Santa and she informed me... I didnt tell him anything. I wrote him a note.

Merry Christmas baby girl we love you....
