Show time.... " Family"

 

 

 

Tonight was our very first dance recital. Me and another mom, Alice, volunteered to be  backstage moms.

 

The night started off a little rocky backstage with one dancer throwing up, another crying for her mommy, and one upset because she couldn't be in front

but when the curtain rose... it was show time and the girls did so good .

 

 

The recital was all about "Family" and Reese's group got to perform two dances.

 

 

There's my baby girl....we are so proud of you, Reese.

 

She got a little nervous and scared especially when her friend kept telling us she was going to throw up again.

But the lights came on and all the stomach problems were forgotten by all.

This was from her first dance called " I love you, Mom"... and I love you too baby girl.

I love the serious look right here... a ballerina must concentrate you know.

 

 

 

A quick change of skirts and the second dance was on... " Daddy". All the girls looked so cute in their tutu's performing for their daddys...

 

The first thing Reese told her daddy... was  "Daddy I'm so excited... I have a trophy."

Dress Rehearsal and that dreaded bun....

 

 

 

Tonight was DR-day....

dress rehearsal....

 

I've been dreading trying to get her hair up in that bun thingy for weeks. It took three tries but I'm proud of the final results...

 

 

 

 

I loved this picture ... that was the look I kept getting each time I got the bun wrong. 

 

But I believe someone forgave me once she got to play around with her friends and have some fun.

I cant wait to see the pictures ... they were all so cute.



 But I'm kinda partial to this ballerina

They worked so hard trying to get it right... Their dance teacher made them do it several times. Hopefully they will get it right tomorrow but above all have fun.

 

 

Dress rehearsal was so much fun and stress. I cant wait to tomorrow night. All these babies were so cute tonight...

Lord help them have a great night.

The Y

Summer time has arrived.  Yea !
We found out a week ago that no other kids Reese's age signed up for her daycare/preschool... thus the hunt is on for summer daycare.

 

Reesie bo is now going to the YMCA for the summer and loving it.

Thank you Miss. Murista, & Miss Virgina. You all really made a unsure little girl, love summer camp. She cant wait to come back next year.
